Security Clearance and SCI Requirements
1. Clearance/Accesses must be up to date in the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)
NDU uses JPAS ONLY to verify both clearance and SCI access. If your clearance is not kept via JPAS your agency Security Officer and agency Special Security Officer (SSO) will need to pass clearances. Please contact our security office POC at the below number for further information.**NDU Security does not have access to Scattered Castles for clearance / SCI verification.**
2. Fellows must have a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
All Fellows must have a current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility based on a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI), Special Background Investigation (SBI), SBPR (Periodic Reinvestigation), or agency equivalent.
3. Fellows must be eligible for SCI access on DAY ONE of the course
Those Fellows not currently read in (indoctrinated) to SCI accesses should be briefed (indoctrinated) before attending the course.
4. Required Compartments
The compartments required for Capstone participation are SI, TK, Gamma, and HCS. Contact your agency SSO to ensure you meet Capstone compliance.
