The
Department of Leadership and Information Strategy’s goal
is to educate and develop senior leaders to bring strategic thinking
skills and innovative approaches to the challenges of transforming
organizations and formulating and resourcing our future national
security strategy.
We seek to achieve this goal by:
- Using innovative educational programs to provide the
means and environment for our students to increase their knowledge
of organizational transformation and information strategies in
the Joint and interagency arenas; develop their capacity for strategic
thinking; hone their conceptual, technical, and interpersonal
leadership skills; and internalize the value of life-long learning.
- Maintaining and continuously improving a comprehensive, world
class executive assessment and development program that enhances
strategic leader development, supports the ICAF curriculum, and
applies broadly across the leadership spectrum.
- Using innovations in education and information technology to
create and explore new methodologies and models in strategic leadership,
organizational transformation, and information strategy.
- Engaging in cutting-edge research, development, and outreach
in strategic leadership, organizational transformation, and information
strategy.
-
Seeking to recruit, hire, develop, and retain a high quality team
of experts in the behavioral sciences and information strategy
arenas.
