Relevant Professional Experience:
Before joining the Information Resources Management College, Dr. Carroll spent 30 years as an IT professional in the Department of the Army information technology and assurance fields. Her most recent position was the Information Assurance Program Manager for a major Army command. Since joining IRM College, she primarily teaches courses in information assurance management. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Government (CIPP/G).
Scholarship:
Dr. Carroll’s research interests include privacy in the government and outsourcing. Other scholarly pursuits include information security management, risk management, information law, and information ethics.
