Relevant Professional Experience:
Prior to joining the IRM College, Capt Mancini worked for Headquarters Air Force (HAF) A9, performing key analyses to directly support the Chief of Staff for the Air Force (CSAF) and the Vice Chief of Staff for the Air Force on a variety of issues including Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Force Structure, and Capability Review and Risk Assessment (CRRA).  Capt Mancini attended a full time in-residence masters program from 2002 thru 2004, completing an NSA sponsored thesis on automating security protocol analysis at the Air Force Institute of Technology.  Capt Mancini also served as the deputy flight commander of 93rd CSS/SCX, and was responsible for providing key software support for all JSTARS aircraft.

Scholarship:
Captain Mancini’s areas of expertise include critical infrastructure protection, information assurance and security, and information operations and warfare.  He has presented on protocol analysis at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
