Relevant Professional Experience:
Before joining the IRM College in 2005, Dr. Robinson was the Assistant Director of Teaching and Learning with the Office of Information Technology at the University of Maryland, College Park. She has worked at a number of universities—including Towson University, The George Washington University, the United States International University, the Professional Engineering Institute, and Antioch University— in both faculty and administrative roles.
Scholarship:
Over the years, Dr. Robinson has published many articles and presented widely on effective ways to utilize education technology. Recent publications are “Introductory biology courses: A framework to support active learning in large enrollment introductory science courses” and “Course evaluation online: Putting a structure into place.” Her recent conference presentations have focused on building community and interaction in online courses and visualizing research in virtual reality and non-linear holographic rhizomes.
