On September 13 from 1430-1600, ADM Harry Harris, Commander U.S. Pacific Command, will be the featured speaker for the inaugural session of INSS' monthly symposium “Changing Character of War.” ADM Harris will speak for 30 minutes, followed by 60 minutes of Q&A conducted under Chatham House Rule.

The symposium will be held in Marshall Hall, Room 155, NDU students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend, if interested and available. Time permitting, we hope to see you there!

What is it? A voluntary, monthly, unclassified speaking and discussion opportunity at NDU, held after seminar hours under Chatham House Rule, open to students, faculty, and interested attendees, featuring prominent scholars and practitioners, and focused on the character and conduct of modern war.

What it isn’t: CCW is not mandatory, is not an elective, has no assigned readings, and is cost free for NDU. No honorariums or travel fees are provided to speakers.

Each session will last 90 minutes, with 30 minutes provided for the speaker’s presentation and 60 minutes for open Q&A.

This event is not open to the public.
