IA Compliance for CIC and CISA

Short-Course* Students

NDU ITD Service Desk: 202-685-3824

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS PAGE THOROUGHLY AND COMPLY PER THE INSTRUCTIONS

NDU provides all of its students with access to the Internet, wireless networks, curricula, and research tools -- all via DoD owned, managed, or compliant information systems. Access is predicated on student compliance with DoD Information Assurance (IA) regulations and requirements.

FY18 is a baseline IA compliance year for NDU, meaning that no student will receive access to any NDU system until they have accurately and fully completed their IA requirements.

ALL NEW STUDENTS ENROLLED IN CIC and CISA AY18 COURSES AT NDU MUST SUBMIT:

  • A certificate of completion ("CyberCert") for the DoD Cyber Awareness Challenge v.4 taken AFTER JUNE 15, 2017, and submitted no later than ONE WEEK prior to the course start date; and,
  • An NDU Student Account Access Request Form 2875 ("2875") completed and signed by the student and the security office of the student's agency/organization/unit, and submitted no later than ONE WEEK prior to the course start date.

RETURNING CIC STUDENTS: Even if you have previously submitted a 2875, you are required to submit a new 2875 for our baseline AY. In addition, your CyberCerts must be taken AFTER JUNE 15, 2017, submitted no later than ONE WEEK prior to your course start date AND BEFORE AUGUST 30, 2017 to cover you for the entire AY.  Students who fail to comply by August 30 risk having their accounts deleted.

* Short course refers to any course which is NOT a 10-month JPME residential program.
