| The Office of Institutional Research, Assessment, and Planning is a trusted provide of accurate,
timely, unbiased, research-based information in support of the mission of the National Defense University. This office provides
information and analysis support for the planning, decision-making, assessment, and reporting needs of the NDU leadership.
The institutional Research office:

Serves as the institution's official repository of data beyond the operational systems, to ensure integrity, accuracy,
consistency, and appropriateness in the ethical use of data.

Is the single point for release of data and the source of authoritative data for the University.

Develops, coordinates, and maintains a timely, useful University fact book.

Prepare routine, recurring, ad-hoc, and other reports that meet the needs of the senior leadership of the University.
