The Statecraft, Peacekeeping and Nation Building course (SPNB) is primarily available to CHDS graduates (civilian and military) of resident courses held at CHDS between 1998 and March 2009 (applications from non-CHDS graduates will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).  The SSTR is designed to expand upon the educational foundation built during your original CHDS course, but is also specifically designed for individuals currently involved in international or stability operations, peace-keeping operations, or reconstruction efforts.  NOTE: Graduates from the CEDEYAC course in Peru are eligible to apply to this course without being a graduate from a CHDS resident course (except for graduates from the 2008 course).

The course will be conducted in English, and the vast majority of the reading assignments are available only in English.  For that reason the application form is only available in English.
