United States Citizens

For United States citizens, including government civilians, non-government civilians, and military officers, the application/registration deadline for courses is generally four weeks before an event begins, as the administrative requirements are significantly reduced for US citizens. US citizens must meet all candidate and eligibility requirements.

CHDS cannot provide scholarships to US citizens. However, other government agencies, universities, employers, and private funds may be used to pay for travel, lodging and per diem expenses (CHDS does not have a tuition charge).

People traveling on a US passport, but also citizens of another country (dual citizenship), are eligible to receive full scholarships to CHDS programs under certain conditions. For clarification or questions concerning this policy, please contact CHDSRegistrar@ndu.edu.
