United States Citizens
If you are a citizen of the United States, including government civilians, non-government civilians, and military officers, please note that the application/registration deadline is generally four-six weeks before an event begins (whereas non-US candidates must generally complete their applications five months before an event’s start date). This is because the administrative requirements are significantly reduced for US citizens.
CHDS cannot provide scholarships to US citizens to attend CHDS programs. However, other government agencies, NGOs, universities, and private funds may be used to pay for travel, lodging and per diem expenses (there is no tuition).
Persons traveling on a US Passport, but citizens of another country, are now eligible to receive full scholarships to CHDS programs.
All candidate and eligibility requirements remain in effect for US citizens. If doubts remain, please contact CHDSRegistrar@ndu.edu for further assistance.
