2011 Advanced Courses in Progress
68 of the 87 participants from 28 countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean have begun classes at CHDS. The classes include: Advanced Civil-Political-Military Relations and Democratic Leadership (ACPMR), Strategy and international Security (SIS), Governance, Governability and Security in the Americas (GGSA), Terrorism and Counterinsurgency (TCI), and Combating Transnational Organized Crime and Illicit Networks in the Americas (CTOC).
Assistant Professor Celina Realuyo and her class have been utilizing the internet to stream real-time footage of her lectures to their classmates who are still abroad. The video streaming of the lecture was watched by 14 individuals throughout the world via the CHDS website.
