XXII Strategic Defense and Crisis Management Course Commences in Lima-Peru

The XXII CEDEYAC (Curso de Dirección Estratégica para la Defensa y Administración de Crisis) course began on August 28, with the participation of 45 students of various backgrounds, including government officials, officers from the armed forces and national police, and entrepreneurs. CHDS usually supports CEDEYAC courses through videoconference lectures, but because Professor Manuel Lora was already in Peru to attend the Annual CHDS Peruvian Alumni Conference, he gave the lecture in person. The presentation, “Frameworks for Security and Defense,” generated an intense dialogue among course participants and served as a central element of the small group discussions. Professor Lora also presented CHDS' Institutional brief showcasing courses and several strategic interaction activities, and congratulated CEDEYAC for its success on behalf of CHDS Director Dr. Richard Downie.
