CHDS Presents Hemispheric Forum on Violence in Central America
On Wednesday, March 20, CHDS will host a panel discussion entitled Reducing Violence in Central America: Citizen Security/The El Salvador Experiment. The Forum will be moderated by Professor Celina Realuyo, CHDS Assistant Professor of National Security Affairs. Panelists include: Ambassador Francisco Roberto Altschul Fuentes, El Salvador’s Ambassador to the United States; Dr. Diana Villiers Negroponte, Nonresident Senior Fellow with the Latin America Initiative at the Brookings Institution; Ms. Clare Ribando Seelke, Specialist in Latin America at the Congressional Research Service; Mr. Eric L. Olson, Associate Director of the Latin American Program, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars; and Mr. Steven Dudley, Co-Director, Insight.
