VI Research and Education in Defense and Security Studies Seminar
(REDES 2003)

The Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies is pleased to announce that the VI annual Research and Education in Defense and Security Studies Seminar (REDES) will be held during the week of October 27 to 30 in Santiago, Chile. The seminar will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Defense of Chile and ANEPE.

Dear REDES Participants:

Please read the following information about paying registration fees and hotel reservations.
 

HOTEL RESERVATIONS: CHDS will make all hotel reservations for REDES participants and attendees, who register prior to the opening of the seminar. Please do NOT call the Hyatt Regency Santiago, Santiago, Chile, to make reservations yourselves. Upon arrival all REDES participants and attendees must go first to the REDES Registration Desk in the mezzanine to register before proceeding to the hotel reception desk to receive room assignments and room keys. 
 

PAYMENT OF REDES REGISTRATION FEE: Persons attending REDES 2003 may qualify for partial or full financial assistance. Please indicate the level of financial assistance, if any, for which you qualify. Please note that CHDS can only provide financial assistance to Latin America and the Caribbean. Also note, there is a $100 (US) conference fee* due at registration for all attendees/panelists.
