Getting to the Eisenhower School
The Eisenhower School is located on the National Defense University Campus at Fort Leslie J McNair in Washington DC. Fort McNair is conveniently located in
DC's Southwest region. The surrounding area is urban and being revitalized with the new Nationals baseball park and Arena stage just blocks away. The NDU Campus has also
expanded with the opening of Lincoln Hall.

The National Defense University Campus is served by a number of commuter options:
DIRECTIONS FROM VIRGINIA
Coming
north on Route 95, cross the 14th Street Bridge. (If you are in
the HOV lanes, keep to your right and follow the sign towards 12th
Street. You will then merge with the non-HOV lanes.) Once across
the bridge, avoid the 12th Street exit, then take the next right
exit to Maine Avenue. This puts you onto 9th Street. Proceed through
the stop sign, then get into the left (turn) lane before the light.
Turn left at the light onto Maine Avenue--in a few blocks, this
road will turn into M Street. After several blocks you will come
to 4th Street (a Safeway grocery store will be to your left). Take
a right onto 4th Street. After going straight for a few blocks,
it will curve around to the left. Immediately after the curve, turn
right into Fort McNair.
DIRECTIONS FROM MARYLAND
FROM
270. Take 270 South to 495. At the fork, keep to your right. You
will merge into 495 South. Then, watch for the exit, "George
Washington Parkway"-- after you cross the American Legion Bridge
that overlooks the Potomac River, you will bear right to the "GW
Parkway" exit. Once on the Parkway, drive all the way to the
end. Make a right turn and keep straight for a mile. Bear right
at the exit, "395 North." Merge into traffic as you cross
the 14th Street Bridge. Look for the exit "Maine Avenue"
on your right. Taking this exit puts you onto 9th Street. Proceed
through the stop sign, then get into the left (turn) lane before
the light. Turn left at the light onto Maine Avenue--in a few blocks,
this road will turn into M Street. After several blocks you will
