The Eisenhower School provides core and concentration programs to broaden student knowledge in National Security topics. These topics cover a wide range of themes that impact National Security but would be missed without intermediate or advanced schooling.
The AF&PAK Fellows Program provides select students a broader understanding of the strategic issues intertwined in central, south and southwest Asia, while completing the core courses taught at the Eisenhower School.
ElectivesThe electives program gives students the opportunity to deepen or broaden their knowledge through elective courses. Students are required to take four elective courses for a total of eight academic credit hours during the year.
Industry StudyAs a member of an industry study seminar students will study in depth one of the industries critical to meeting our national security needs.
Long-Term StrategyThe Long-term Strategy concentration program focuses on providing methods for evaluating and understanding trends in global affairs to support national defense, security planning and national level decision-making.
Regional Security StudiesStudents benefit from a Baruch Lecture Series that covers major issues facing the United States in specific geographic regions of the world. Every student will have the opportunity to focus on one region in depth through enrollment in one of the regional security study seminars.
Senior Acquisition CourseThe Eisenhower School has been designated by the under secretary of defense for acquisition, technology, and logistics to conduct the senior acquisition course for selected students as part of the Defense Acquisition University (DAU).
Supply Chain ManagementThe program is also designed to develop a cadre of military and DoD personnel with a conceptual comprehension of supply chain management and its advantages and potential applications to the nation.
Industry FellowsThe Eisenhower School hosts Industry Fellows, students from the private sector, who add important industry experience and a business-oriented perspective to the Eisenhower School curriculum, particularly in the resources management area.
Student Research & WritingStudents have the option to complete a research project in lieu of one or more electives. Students choosing this option are expected to produce a fully documented, scholarly paper.
