Relevant Professional Experience: Ms. Lewis has over 11 years of professional experience in Information Assurance and Cyber Security for both classified and sensitive systems. Prior to her current position as a faculty member of the iCollege, Professor Lewis served as a Security Officer for the U.S. Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service (IRS). She has also served as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS); Security Officer for the Department of Treasury, Financial Management Service (FMS); Engineer / Scientist for Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics Surveillance Systems-Undersea Systems, and Web Software Developer and Manager for Lockheed Martin Information Technology. Professor Lewis is designated a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certification and Accreditation Professional (CAP), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
Scholarship:
Professor Lewis is interested in cryptology and security risk management. She currently facilitates various local information sessions on cryptography via local security associations.
