3. Do speakers and presenters need to pay conference registration?
Yes, the low cost of this full conference enables us to provide a high quality conference, including meals and conference materials.
4. What is the cost for attending the conference via virtual world?
There is no cost for participating in the FCVW Con 2012 via virtual world; however, registration is required: http://www.ndu.edu/icollege/fcvw/registration.html Log-in instructions will be provided to registered participants only.
5. Will there be accommodations for Internet access and/or power to general conference registrants?
No. However, AT&T users find a signal in the main auditorium. Other providers have intermittent or no signal. Smartphones and computers can be recharged in the lunch facilities during the lunch break. This is a self-serve provision on a first-come, first served basis. NDU takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged equipment. Please stay with your equipment at all times.
6. What is the difference between the Government Poster Session and the Vendor Fair?
The purpose of the Government Poster Session is for government agencies and organizations to showcase their projects. Subcontractors may be asked to support Government Poster Sessions in the capacity of discussing the work provided on a given project. The Government Poster Session is not a marketing opportunity for private industry, and as such, no corporate marketing materials will be permitted (e.g., general services posters, flyers, logos, or other marketing or outreach media).
The Vendor Fair is offered as an opportunity for private industry to conduct marketing and outreach activities while at the conference. Companies can share projects, general services, and other company-specific information for the purpose of creating awareness about their capabilities. Corporate banners, posters, and other marketing and outreach media are encouraged and permitted.
7. How do I sponsor the FCVW Con 2012 event?

8. Something has come up; how do I get a refund?
You may request a refund by sending an e-mail to FederalConsortiumVW@ndu.edu. In order to be sure your request is processed, you must put “Refund Request” in the subject line. All refund requests are due no later than 5 May 2012 at 4:00 PM GMT. No exceptions. All requests received after this time will not be processed. Please allow two weeks for processing. A confirmation receipt will be sent to you after your request is processed. Multiple requests/inquiries may result in a longer wait time for refund.
