Commander Jim Churbuck is one of the Information Resources Management College’s military faculty. His recent assignments include extensive work in political-military affairs, where he helped develop and implement national policy on issues related to Weapons of Mass Destruction and anti-terrorism. In these assignments, he was a member of numerous diplomatic delegations representing United States interests to international audiences at the United Nations and its affiliate organizations. A career Naval Aviator, he has a wealth of operational experience in addition to his focus on national and international policy. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he holds a B.S. in Naval Engineering and an M.S. in National Resource Management (Information Studies Concentration Program) from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
