James E. Kasprzak , Ph.D.

James E. Kasprzak is a Professor of Systems Management in the National Defense University. He teaches in the Global Enterprise Networking and Telecommunications course, and is manager for the Privacy and Continuity of Operations courses. Prior to teaching at NDU, he spent twenty years in a series of information resource management policy and planning assignments in the Army. He was awarded the United States Army’s Civilian Meritorious Service Medal for, “Saving the Army 100 million dollars by automating its administrative information systems”. He holds a Ph.D. from Loyola University, and is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College and Air War College and is a Distinguished Graduate of the iCollege Advanced Management Program. He is a retired Colonel of the U.S. Army Reserve.

Areas of Expertise: Business applications of technology, telecommunications, privacy, continuity of operations.
