We had a great day and generated some good discussion about what role social media should play in government. Some excellent points were made about possible ways to leverage this technology, the pros and cons of the power of the individual, the advantages/risks involved, and tried to address the root question of the conference: how do we tap into this huge resource? We apologize for our streaming problems in the morning, but we will have videos of the panels posted in the next few days hopefully.
In the meantime...
We had some requests for the "Social Media Revolution" video we showed at the begining of the day. This particular video was just one of many social media factoid videos out there.
Lastly, we recieved a request via twitter to archive all the tweets during the day. We created an archive using Twapperkeeper. Just put in the date paramaters to get tweets for that particular timeframe.
