2008 Honoree: Dr. Paul G. Kaminski, Class of 1977

2007 - Honoree : Admiral James M. Loy, Class of 1985
Admiral Loy became commandant of the Coast Guard in May, 1998 and served through May 2002. Admiral Loy focused his leadership during his tenure on restoring Coast Guard readiness and shaping the future of the the nation's oldest continuous sea-going service.
2006 - Honoree : Mr. Chet Huber, Class of 1994
Mr. Huber was selected by the U.S. Department of Defense and General Motors as the first Industrial Fellow to attend the National Defense University's Industrial College of the Armed Forces in Washington, D.C. He graduated in June 1995 with a master of science degree in national resource strategy.
2005 - Honoree : Congressman Ike Skelton
Skelton was instrumental in the passage of the Goldwater-Nichols Department of Defense Reorganization Act of 1986. He chaired a House panel on military education from 1987 to 1988 and has advocated better strategic thinking and improvements in the intermediate and senior-level educational programs for the four services.
2004 - Honoree : General John W Vessey, Class of 1966
Served as the tenth Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from June 18, 1982 to September 30, 1985. When he retired in 1985 at the age of 63, General Vessey was the longest serving active duty member in the United States Army.
