Relevant Professional Experience
Dr. Donohoe is an experienced information technology executive, with
over 27 years in both business and military leadership roles. During his
career, he was responsible for leading information technology support
service organizations to meet the strategic needs of his business or
military customers. While working in the private sector, Dr. Donohoe
successfully managed global IT organizations in the US, Asia (Hong Kong,
Shenzhen/China, Subic Bay/Philippines), France and Germany. Dr. Donohoe
retired at the rank of Major from the Pennsylvania Air National Guard
where he served as a Communication Squadron Commander.
Prior to joining the iCollege at NDU, Dr. Donohoe was a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration; where, he taught Operations Management, Supply Chain Management & Information Systems Management courses to Executive MBA, MBA and Undergraduate students.
Scholarship
Dr. Donohoe’s research focuses on IT acquisition supply chain challenges and risks,
business transformation, integrated ERP systems/cloud computing operational challenges
and IT project/portfolio management & leadership.
