Poland's Armed Forces Chief of Staff Inducted into NDU International Hall of Fame

General Mieczyslaw Cieniuch, Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, was inducted into the National Defense University (NDU) International Hall of Fame on Tuesday, January 10 in a ceremony hosted by University President Vice Admiral Anne E. Rondeau. General. General Cieniuch is a 2000 graduate of NDU's Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
The International Hall of Fame was established to provide a prestigious and visible means of honoring NDU graduates who have attained through military merit the highest positions in their nations' armed forces or who have held equivalent positions in multinational military organizations.
General Cieniuch is the fifth Polish officer to be inducted into the NDU International Hall of Fame, and the thirty-third inductee overall.
The ceremony was attended by a visiting delegation from the Polish embassy, members of the D.C. defense attaché community, university leadership, and current NDU international students. In addition to the Hall of Fame induction, General Cieniuch was also presented with an honorary Master of Science degree in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
