Dr. Przystup is a Senior Research Fellow, has worked on issues related to East Asia for close to thirty years on Capitol Hill,on the House of Reprsentatives Subcommittee on Asian and Pacific Affairs; as the Deputy Director of the Presidential Commission on U.S.-Japan Relations; in the private sector at IBM; on the Policy Planning Staff of the Department of State; in the Office of the Secretary of Defense; as Director of the Asian Studies Center at The Heritage Foundation.
He holds a BA Summa Cum Laude from the University of Detroit and an MA and PhD from the University of Chicago.
