With its dynamic network of policy makers and senior officials, combined with National Defense University’s non-attribution policy, the Center is an informal forum with real policy impact. CTSS hosts officials from around the world in roundtable discussions, seminars, and conferences,including Allied Defense Attaches, NATO Ambassadors (Permanent Representatives), foreign defense ministers, NATO Assistant Secretary Generals, military officials, and others. These meetings,  provide an informal yet credible forum for discussion among policy makers and governments.

CTSS frequently hosts roundtable discussions with senior international officials to continue a rich and relevant dialogue on mutual security and defense issues. Guests have included Serbian Minister of Defense Dragan Šutanovac, NATO Ambassadors (Permanent Representatives) Janis Eichmanis (Latvia) & Istvan Kovacs (Hungary), and NATO Assistant Secretary General Martin Howard.
