Horn of Africa Food Security Crisis - Conference Sponsored by CTNSP, AfriCom, and Africa Center for Strategic Studies

The Center for Technology and National Security Policy (CTNSP) in partnership with the Africa Center for Strategic Studies (ACSS) and United States Africa Command (AfriCom) is pleased to host a conference that will address the strategic implications for the United States of food security issues in Africa, using the famine in the Horn of Africa as an example.

A key goal will be to understand better how to improve interactions with NGOs, International Organizations and other non-traditional stakeholders. This will be an important opportunity to highlight for the Washington D.C. audience how USAFRICOM is engaged with non-traditional security threats.
