JIEMIAN YANG

Institute for International Studies
Professor Yang is the Director & Senior Fellow, Department of
American Studies, Shanghai Institute for International Studies (SIIS).
He received a BA from Shanghai Teachers’ University, an MA from
Shanghai Institute for International Studies and an MA from The Fletcher School
of Law & Diplomacy.
He previously served as Research Fellow and Director of Academic Affairs,
Shanghai Institute for International Studies.
From 1991 to 1996 Professor Yang served as Senior Fellow, Director of
Department of American Studies, Vice President, Institute of Peace and
Development. He
has published many papers or books on international relations and American
foreign policies.
