ELIZABETH L. CHALECKI
Ms. Chalecki is a Research Associate at the Pacific
Institute for Studies in Development, Environment, and Security, and is currently working on the issues of environmental terrorism
climate change and its effects on U.S. security, and regional watershed security
and diplomacy. She holds an M.Sc.
in Environmental Geography from the University of Toronto, and an M.A. in
International Relations from Boston University. Ms. Chalecki has published articles on environmental
terrorism, bulk water exports and free trade, climate change, and public
perceptions of environmental issues. Before
coming to the Institute, she worked for Environment Canada, authoring the
Extraterritorial Issues chapter of the Canadian Country Study: Climate
Impacts on Adaptations: the U.S. Department of Commerce; and the Brookings
Institution.
