DR.
FREDERICK GIESSLER
Dr.
Giessler is a faculty member, Advanced Concepts,
Technology & Information Strategy Directorate, Institute for National
Strategic Studies, National Defense University.
From 1994 to 1995, he was Professor of Systems Management, School of
Information Warfare, Information-Based Warfare Department, Information Resources
Management College. Prior to coming to the National Defense University, he was
Senior Scientist, Science Applications International Corporation from 1983-1994.
Between 1976 and 1983, Dr. Geissler served as Military
Assistant/Assistant Director:, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Net
Assessment at the Pentagon, Washington, DC, and from 1971 to 1975. Program
Control, Space Systems, Strategic Planner:, Office of the Secretary of the Air
Force, Special Projects, Los Angeles Air Force Station, CA.
Dr. Geissler holds an MS degree in Economics – Marketing and a Ph.D in
Financial, Systems, Management from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.
Other schools attended include Air War College (Correspondence); Air
Staff and Command College (Correspondence); and, the Industrial College of the
Armed Forces, National Defense University.
