Mary Linda Polydys

Mary Linda Polydys is a recognized systems management expert and Chairs the Information Operations and Assurance Department, Information Resources Management, National Defense University.  For over 32 years, Professor Polydys has provided the U.S. Department of Defense expert services in information technology acquisition and project management, enterprise architecture, data management, information security, and information assurance education.  She currently is the Co-chair for the Software Assurance Acquisition Working Group and is one of the primary authors of the Software Assurance Body of Knowledge.  A graduate of George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia, she holds a bachelor’s degree in decision sciences and master’s degree in information systems.  She is also designated as a Level III Certified DoD Acquisition Professional in both contracting and information technology.
 

Areas of expertise: Acquisition (and software assurance in acquisition), enterprise architecture, information planning, data management, information assurance.
