Michael L. Pack, University of Maryland College Park
Michael L. Pack is the Director of the Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Laboratory (CATTLab) at the University of Maryland in College Park.
Mr. Pack is the program manager for many multi-million dollar projects including the National Capital Area’s Regional Integrated Transportation Information System (RITIS) program and the I-95 Corridor Coalition’s 3D Virtual Incident Management Training Program. He has previously worked for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s Center for Transportation Analysis and the University of Virginia’s Smart Travel Laboratory. He has extensive experience in the areas of Intelligent Transportation Systems, transportation operations and incident management, data acquisition systems, database management systems, data visualization, graphical user interface design, process control, and video image processing.
