Welcome
Interagency Transformation, Education and Analysis (ITEA) is a federally funded program that seeks to improve coordination among the executive departments and agencies responsible for crisis planning and response.
The ITEA program was established in 1997 in response to the increasing number of complex crises requiring a coordinated response among US Government agencies and departments.
In support of US national interests and objectives, the ITEA program serves as a national focal point for innovation in education, research, and gaming that addresses interagency planning and response to complex crises.
ITEA programs are conducted with funding from the Department of Defense and encouragement of the National Security Council Staff and other U.S. government agencies. It is managed and implemented by the Security Strategy and Policy Division of the National Strategic Gaming Center, an element of the Institute for National Strategic Studies, National Defense University, Washington, DC.
