


Colonel Jeff Corbett joined the NWC faculty in 2012 from the Army Staff where he was an Army Planner in the Office of Joint & Defense Affairs, Office of the Chief of Staff of the Army. He is a 1985 graduate of the United States Military Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and was commissioned as an infantry officer. His experience includes a variety of command and staff positions in the 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized), the 82d Airborne Division, the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Third Army (ARCENT) and the United States Central Command. He has also served as an analyst and as a planner in the Army's Human Resource Command. His combat and operational experience includes assignments as an assistant brigade operations officer during Operation DESERT SHIELD/DESERT STORM, a J-3 Plans Officer with the United States Central Command and as Commander of Area Support Group-Qatar, Third U.S. Army during Operations ENDURING and IRAQI FREEDOM. Colonel Corbett is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the Naval Postgraduate School where he earned a Master of Science in Operations Research, and the National Defense University's Industrial College of the Armed Forces where he earned a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy.
