Captain Frank H. Kingett

Captain Kingett CAPT Kingett is the Coast Guard Chair at the National War College. He graduated from the Coast Guard Academy in 1985 where he majored in Marine Science, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree. Upon graduation, he began his sea career as a deck watch officer and Operations Officer in USCGC IRIS (WLB-395). His shipboard assignments included Executive Officer in USCGC HORNBEAM (WLB-394), and Commanding Officer of USCGC POINT SAL (WPB-82352) and USCGC PAPAW (WLB-308).

CAPT Kingett has completed ashore assignments as Battalion Officer at Coast Guard Training Center Cape May NJ, staff assignments on the First Coast Guard District Staff (Waterways & Aids To Navigation) and Headquarters Staff (Programming and Budget Execution), as well as Executive Officer of the Coast Guard's Intelligence Coordination Center.

His education also includes a Master of Science degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and an Executive Military Fellowship with RAND. He is married and has five children.
