Colonel O’Hey joined the NWC faculty from the Joint Force Training Center, Bydgoszcz, Poland where he served as the Division Head, Training Division. In 1983, he received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree and commission from The Citadel, Charleston, South Carolina. He was assigned the military occupational specialty of Field Artillery.
He has served in a variety of command and staff positions in the United States, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Poland. These staff positions included service at the Joint Staff, Service Headquarters, Service Component, Marine Expeditionary Force and NATO levels. He has held command at the Platoon, Battery, Recruiting Station, and Battalion levels.
Colonel O’Hey is a graduate of the USMC Command and Staff College and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
