Colonel Yung joined the faculty of the National War College in June 2011. He is a career U.S. Air Force officer and has served in a variety of space/missile operations, acquisitions, intelligence, joint, and command duty assignments. Colonel Yung holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Michigan State University, a Master of Military Operational Art and Science degree from the U.S. Air Command & Staff College, and a Master of Strategic Studies degree from the U.S. Marine Corps War College. Prior to his duties at the National Defense University, Colonel Yung served on the faculty of the U.S. Army War College.
