Absence Request Form (MS Word file) To use this form, right-click on the link and choose "Save Target As" nwc_absence_request.doc to your own computer. Then open the file in MicroSoft Word and follow the instructions on the form. If you do not have direct access to NDU's Outlook e-mail application, you will need to know (at a minimum) the e-mail addresses of your Faculty Advisor and the Dean of Students.

Place your cursor over the green dots to see directions to various locations on Fort McNair. Be aware, however, that the last leg of the animated route to NWC is incorrect: it directs you to drive the wrong way into the one-way parking lot immediately in front of Roosevelt Hall (i.e., the National War College). Instead, turn into the student parking lot to your left (along the water's edge).
NOTE 1: The new main security gate at Fort McNair is on 3rd Street, so you'll have to continue past the main gate (closed at 5pm) and the P Street gate (now closed entirely), turn right on 3rd Stree, and make another, almost-immediate right into the new gate.
NOTE 2: You'll need valid photo ID, cars are subject to search, and the 20mph speed limit is energetically enforced.
