Important COVID Information for Faculty, Staff and Students

All NDU Faculty, Staff and Students are required to view the COVID 19 Orientation Brief of NDU Command Surgeon COL Laurel A. Neff (USA), DO, MBA, FAAFP on Livestream. No password is required.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, test positive for COVID-19, or come into contact with someone confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19, please immediately:

  1. Complete form DD3112, "Personnel Accountability and Assessment Notification for a Public Health Emergency"; 
  2. Send the form via encrypted email to NDU’s Health and Fitness Directorate at COVID@ndu.edu; and,
  3. Call NDU's Health and Fitness Directorate at (202) 685-2791, and alert them them that you have sent the form via encrypted email.

The White House, HHS and the CDC have established a landing page at https://www.coronavirus.gov with the latest information from the overarching medical community on COVID-19. The page is currently promoting information on how it spreads, symptoms, prevention and treatment, stigma and COVID-19, what to do if you are sick, and frequently asked questions.

Here are a few additional resources that the White House Coronavirus Task Force is amplifying. 

Coronavirus Guidelines for America – The White House Coronavirus Task Force has issued an updated version of this document. 

• Coronavirus Task Force: Frequently Asked Questions – An interagency website, organized by the White House Coronavirus Task Force, for definitive information on the public’s most frequently asked questions. The site currently features content from the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Homeland Security, FEMA, the Department of the Treasury and the Small Business Administration. 

• FEMA Rumor Control – Helping the public distinguish between rumors and facts regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.  A great resource for social media – if you see a rumor, reply back with the correct answer and link to the FEMA Rumor Control page.

• FEMA: How You Can Help – Learn the best way to donate, volunteer, or provide critical supplies to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
