March 29, 2018 —
On March 29, 2018, the National Defense University's International Fellows from the Class of 2018 prepared and served cuisine from their home countries to NDU's students, faculty, and staff. The luncheon took place in Marshall Hall at Fort McNair in Washington, DC.
This NDU tradition showcases the diversity of NDU's student body and provided an opportunity to enjoy cultures and cuisines from all over the world. Fellows and families worked incredibly hard to prepare for this event, making dishes from over 60 countries.
NDU provides a hedge against uncertainty by developing leaders prepared to handle the Nation’s most difficult national security challenges in an increasingly unpredictable environment. History has shown that the best way to safeguard the Nation’s interests is by educating and developing leaders who are prepared to think critically, strategically, and creatively to produce innovative and holistic solutions.
As the premier institution for strategic leader development, NDU leverages a uniquely valuable combination of academic and research programs focused on national and international security, a diverse student body and faculty, partnerships across the security enterprise, and an advantageous location.
