NDU Shares Higher Ed Best Practices with Hellenic National Defense College Delegation

By Daniel Magalotti

A delegation from the Hellenic National Defense College of Greece visited National Defense University on 12 and 13 May in order to learn about NDU’s best practices, curriculum development, and accreditation process.  The delegation, led by the college’s commandant, Lieutenant General Dimitrios Thomaidis, met with NDU President Major General Frederick Padilla, Senior Vice President Ambassador Wanda Nesbitt, and Dr. John Yaeger, the NDU Provost, among others.  Lieutenant General Thomaidis requested to visit NDU, among other military education institutions in the United States, to gather information about NDU’s structure, wargaming center, military and civilian accreditation, and faculty selection procedures as the Hellenic National Defense College examines its own programs and curriculum.
