International Hall of Fame

The International Hall of Fame (IHOF) was established 1999 by NDU's International Student Management Office (ISMO) to provide a prestigious and visible means of honoring international graduates who have attained through merit the highest positions in their nation’s armed forces, service component, or government, or who have held an equivalent position in a multinational organization. Members of the International Hall of Fame are recognized in a formal ceremony on NDU's Washington, DC campus, and their photographs are displayed in Marshall Hall.

ISMO is the administrative home of the international students attending education and training courses at NDU. Its mission is to foster joint security cooperation in order to effectively advance US security interests and build defense partnerships for the future. ISMO integrates international students within University programs in support of NDU’s academic and engagement priorities, enables the academic success of international students to enhance partnership capability, creates opportunities for them to foster rapport with US classmates, and provides opportunities to develop a firsthand knowledge of the US, its people, institutions, way of life and commitment to principles of internationally recognized human rights.
