FOIA requests directed to NDU are submitted through the OSD/JS FOIA Requester Service Center ("the Center"). The Center supports all actions related to PA requests submitted by the public for access to records under the control of the OSD and JS, to include NDU and other specific OSD components.
Requests outside the scope of the Center should be directed to the Military Service, Combatant Command, or Defense Agency that maintains the record(s) of interest.
Making a PA Request to NDU
Privacy Act requests for records kept about you and retrieved by your name or identifier by NDU must be submitted IN WRITING; must be signed by you; and must include the name and number of the applicable NDU System of Records Notice (SORN).
